Paddle For Peace is a short course focusing on the importance of peace in relation to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Students of any age are welcome to participate in any aspect of the modules or complete all of them. In exploring key human right concepts students will be invited to gather information, demonstrate understanding, reflect on learning, and participate in an activity for change. It is our hope this course will inspire you to become a 'piece' in the puzzle for peace.
The Paddle for Peace course is sponsored by Eminus Academy, a partnership between UN Habitat Youth Fund, UNOPS, and the University of the Fraser Valley (Abbotsford, BC, Canada). Eminus aims to train and empower youth in relation to human rights and global goals.
Eminus Academy will offer certificates of completion through its partners, promoting the integrity and value of such education. Students who complete Paddle for Peace will receive a certificate of completion signed by Eminus Academy and Mark Fuhrmann.
