Today I crossed the Ems river from Emden to Delfzijl. This amazing guy called Hinni - a 77 year old German, drove me a short distance to avoid ship traffic around the port. What a great guy. Gave me maps of Holland and a big hug when he left me on the beach. Arriving in the port of Delfzijl, a port policeman, Japp, invited me to his police boat and gave me coffee and soup. Vera his colleague and him talked about the Piece Prize. So much fun. Local television came and did an interview. So many fantastic people.
